How to Delete Your Account
Follow these simple steps to permanently delete your DMLinkio account and all associated data.
Navigate to Your Profile Settings
Log in to your DMLinkio account and click on the "Profile" option in the left sidebar menu. This will take you to your profile management page where you can view and edit your account information.
Click on the Preferences Tab
On your profile page, you'll see multiple tabs at the top. Click on the "Preferences" tab to access your account preferences and settings. This is where you'll find the account deletion option.
Locate the Danger Zone Section
Scroll down to find the "Danger Zone" section, which contains irreversible and destructive actions. Here you'll see the "Delete Account" option with a red button. This section is clearly marked to warn you about permanent actions.
Click the Delete Account Button
Click the red "Delete Account" button in the Danger Zone section. This will initiate the account deletion process. A confirmation dialog will appear to ensure you really want to proceed.
Confirm Your Decision
A confirmation dialog will appear asking "Are you absolutely sure?" This is your final warning. The dialog will inform you that this action will permanently delete your account and all associated data, and this action cannot be reversed. Click the red "Delete Account" button to confirm.
Important: This Action Is Permanent
Once you delete your account, there is no going back. All your account data, automation settings, DM templates, and analytics will be permanently removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone. Please make sure you have backed up any important information before proceeding.
What Happens After Deletion?
- Your account will be immediately deactivated and inaccessible
- All personal data will be securely deleted from our servers
- Your Instagram connection will be automatically revoked
- All automation rules and DM templates will be removed
- You will receive a confirmation email at your registered email address

Common questions about deleting your DMLinkio account
No, account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once confirmed, all your data, including automation settings, templates, and analytics, will be immediately purged from our active systems and cannot be recovered.
Your account access is revoked immediately upon confirmation. While data is removed from our live databases instantly, it may take up to 30 days to be fully cleared from our backup systems as part of our security protocols.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel recurring payments if you managed your subscription through a third-party billing portal. We strongly recommend canceling your active subscription in your billing dashboard before deleting your account to ensure no further charges occur.
Absolutely. Upon deletion, DMLinkio revokes all API tokens and connections to your Instagram account. Your Instagram account remains untouched, but you will lose all automation functionality provided by DMLinkio.
